JOB SUMMARY

The Revenue Cycle Manager for Value-Based RCM, Inc. (VBRCM) is responsible for effectively leading and directing the work of assigned staff within the parameters of designated performance standards and metrics. The Manager is expected to engage with and support team members as well as leaders across all functional areas of the revenue cycle and to motivate staff towards achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Billing

  • Coding

  • Customer Service

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Electronic Data Interchange

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use, protect, and disclose patient protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards

  • Exhibit professional behavior and communication skills representative of VBRCM's commitment to superior customer service

  • Actively engage team members with guidance and assistance

  • Provide workforce management related to staffing plans, work schedules, position requisitions, productivity and quality, mentoring and coaching, disciplinary actions, staff orientation, evaluation feedback, etc.

  • Collaborate with other VBRCM management team members to ensure desired results are achieved

  • ï‚·Continuously seek to identify process improvement opportunities

  • Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle and regulatory standards

  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing management tasks

  • Possess the ability and desire to manage a team in a remote work environment

  • Innovative, enthusiastic, creative, problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field

  • Previous medical billing experience required

  • Three to five years of management experience​

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
